K-12 Education Program Director
Michael Arquin is currently the Founder/Director of the KidWind Project and a Principal and Co-Founder of REcharge Labs. Since 2003 KidWind has spearheaded a variety of projects with a variety of partners to improve the quality of materials and training related to wind energy education. In 2015, Michael launched a new project with co-founder Asia Ward called REcharge Labs. REcharge Labs seek to blend art, science, and renewable technologies to engage students and teachers to explore basic science concepts around energy. Previous to starting KidWind, Michael was curricula developer with the Boston Museum of Science. He was also a middle and high school science educator at the Santa Catalina School in Monterey, CA.
Michael’s role at REpowering Schools is helping to organize and execute K-12 educational programming for KidWind and for Wind for Schools.
