Richard (Rich) F. Vander Veen, III
Richard served as President of the John D. Voelker Foundation from 1989 to the present.
He was also President of Mackinaw Power, which developed Michigan’s first and largest wind projects, achieving unanimous approvals and empowering Communities “beyond political boundaries”. He published: Community Wind” iBook & “Community Participation Mode,l” and participated in a TEDx MQT Talk with his son, Ben Vander Veen’s Gratiot video shown at the AWEA 2012 conference opening session in Chicago:
He was cofounder of Innovation Shore Angels Network (ISAN) served on the ISAN Board, developing a Sustainable Business Strategy for the Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan.
